GoatsKiss

GoatsKiss came into being because of drought in Queensland, Australia.  GoatsKiss is located in the Western Downs region which has been in drought for almost ten years.  The property used to have cattle, but as the drought killed off the feed, the cattle numbers had to be decreased, unfortunately there are now no cattle at all at the home of Goatskiss.

 To control the regrowth of a natural weed tree, it was decided to get goats.  There were some goats in need of a home and as I am a real softy, I decided to take them in.  More goats followed, also in need of homes as they were on an overstocked property.  GoatsKiss was being formed!

Time passed and Willy the Billy was brought into the fold, he was one of twins and was going to be put down as he was not wanted.  So I took pity on the poor little fellow and brought him home and bottle fed him until he grew into a big Willy.

 Big Willy decided he liked the girls very much and became a daddy to 5 sets of twins.  All of the girls had too much milk so I decided to milk them to take the excess so they didn't become ill with milk fever.  My refrigerator soon filled up to capacity.

 GoatsKiss was born!  I first made some soap as an experiment.  It was fun so I made some more. Now I have a lot of handmade goat milk soap in need of a home.
